The choice is yours when it comes to experiences.
Mount Kenya lies almost directly on the equator and consists of several peaks, ranging from Midget Peak at 4,700 meters to Batian at 5,199 meters. It is the second-highest mountain in Africa. The mountain area is well suited for classic trekking as well as summit ascents, and also offers sections ideal for technical climbing for those who seek it.
We offer a wide range of routes in the Mount Kenya region, from standard treks to summit climbs, and from day hikes to 5–7 night itineraries. Our mountain guides are carefully selected based on their standards, skills, and expertise.
Take a look at the options below as examples of the possibilities available.
Mt. Kenya Sirimon Route – 4-Day Ascent
This is the most popular of all the routes leading up the mountain. It is the steepest and fastest route to Mount Kenya, ascending the mountain from the western side.
Mt. Kenya Hike Chogoria - Sirimon
The Chogoria Route is our recommended option and without doubt the most spectacular ascent route to the summit area. It is the driest route on the mountain, and the section through the Gorges Valley is truly breathtaking.
